About Us
Owner Mark Brown grew up in Southern Maine while spending many weekends and vacations enjoying the extensive recreational opportunities in Western Maine at his family's camp in Gilead. After graduating from High School, he spent his freshman year at Plymouth State College in New Hampshire before joining the United States Navy as a cryptologic analyst, where he served honorably for 2 tours of duty before returning to the beautiful State of Maine.
When the opportunity to purchase the Andover Lodge presented itself, he was excited to make the purchase. He is a past owner of a restaurant, a specialty awards company, and several technology businesses. After successfully selling his technology companies in 2010 and armed with the experience as an owner of several residential, multi-unit, and commercial properties, Mark followed his passion by joining the real estate ranks and is an associate with North Star Realty.
Work ethic, integrity, education and loyalty have been the standards by which he has served his clients over the last 30 years. Mark has earned a reputation as a leader and has developed many strong business relationships along the way. An excellent communicator with an extensive and diverse customer service background, he believes in the standard of exceeding expectations and offering good old fashioned customer service.

Owner Julie Brown grew up Millinocket Maine enjoying all the outdoor activities the Baxter State Park Region offers. After graduating from High School she went on to school at Northern Maine Technical Institute in Presque Isle earning a degree in Small Computer Systems.
Julie spent 8 years in the Bangor area working in the IT industry and eventually relocated to Kennebunk where she has worked in the telecom industry for the last 25 years. When she and Mark decided to purchase the West Bethel Motel she decided to trade the Ocean beaches of the Kennebunks for the beautiful Mountains in Bethel.
Julie currently works in Sales and Customer Care for a Maine owned and operated Telecom company, working with local business throughout Maine to give them the most reliable telecom products in the State.
